LIBBY MAITLAND - OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY - 0402 518 902
I am an experienced Occupational Therapist who works in a holistic way to support individuals to thrive as occupational beings- what we do influences who we are (our identity, our sense of being) and how we relate to the world around us (our belonging). I consider the whole person (body, mind, spirit), the environment (people and the built environment) and the activity (such as self care, play, school participation) as part of the picture when assessing and supporting participation in occupations. I work with new parents to support your transition to parenting as well as children up to 18 and their family.
I use a strengths-based approach and am a neuro diversity affirming and trauma informed practitioner. I am trained in the following approaches

- Circle of security and attachment theory
- Collaborative Problem Solving
- Nature based therapy
- Play therapy
- Sensory Processing / Modulation
- DIR /Floortime
- The Zones of Regulation
